Mixed Media

In attempt to explore another dimension of the personal narratives and self expressive elements of my current project (Memories in Exile) I produced this sculpture of myself with chicken wire. Choosing the medium is based on the multiplicity time layer aspect of the project. The open pores like body, suggests invisibility of time as my imagination is actively trying to embrace events in the past that memories build upon. This work is still in progress as it might expand towards and independent installation.
